Vogel State Park
Did you know Vogel State Park is one of Georgia’s oldest, founded in 1931? It is located at the base of Blood Mountain in the Chattahoochee National Forest. It’s surrounded by tall mountains with a scenic Lake Trahlyta at its center. There are stunning views along the walking trails with periodic swings perched along the edge of the coastline. You can rent kayaks, paddleboards, pedalboats, and aquacycles (seasonally available). There is also miniature golf and a small playground.
