Don Carter State Park
With over 1,316 acres, Don Carter State Park is one of Georgia’s newest state parks and features coastlines along Lake Lanier. As a fairly new development things are well maintained from the playground and outdoor fitness center to the bathhouses and sandy swimming beach. There are seasonal kayak, paddleboard, and aquacycle rentals available too.
